I met a stroke survivor during my most recent hooping class. She shared with me that her right side was not working as efficiently as the left side. Stepping into the hoop and raising it to her waist, she said she had her reservations. I suggested she give try it and see what happens. She was doubtful. She leveled the hoop, gave it a steady push around her body, and… it dropped. She tried again...
